In particular, for the ceramic part of PBK24 the guarantee is for life.Warranty coverage begins on the original purchase date and proof of purchase date or a copy of the original sales invoice is required to validate the warranty. Pit Boss has a five (5) year warranty for defects and manufacturing issues in all parts and five (5) years for electrical components. Pit Boss guarantees that all parts have no defects in material and construction, for the duration of use and ownership of the original buyer. The warranty does not cover damage from wear and tear, such as scratches, dents, bumps, debris or small surface cracks. These changes in the aesthetics of the grill do not affect its performance. Free repair or replacement of any component does not exceed the limited warranty beyond five (5) years from the date of purchase.
During the warranty period, Pit Boss liability is limited to providing replacement for defective and / or failed components. As long as it is within the warranty period, Pit Boss will not charge for repair or replacement of spare parts, prepaid shipments, if the parts are found to be defective by Pit Boss during inspection. Pit Boss is not responsible for shipping costs, labor costs or export duties. Except as provided in these terms of warranty, repair or replacement of parts in the manner and for the period stated so far, it will constitute the fulfillment of all direct and derivative responsibilities and obligations by Pit Boss to you.
Pit Boss takes every precaution and uses materials that delay rust. Even with these warranties, protective coatings can be violated by various substances and conditions beyond Pit Boss control. High temperatures, excessive humidity, chlorine, industrial fumes, fertilizers, pesticides, grass and salt are some of the substances that can affect metal coatings. For these reasons, the warranty does not cover rust or oxidation, unless there is a structural integrity failure in the grill components. In the event of any of the above, refer to the care and maintenance section to extend the life of your unit. Pit Boss recommends using a lid when the grill is not in use.
This warranty is based on normal home use and service of the grill and there is no limited warranty coverage for a grill used in commercial / professional applications.
